The activated work queue

Your AI, already on it.

Whatever you need done is already moving — right inside the AI you use.

Your move

Chase Northwind about the overdue invoice

Goal

Paid, or a payment date agreed

AI can take

Find the invoice and the thread, draft the chase

Activity

  • Found invoice #1042 and the last two emails
  • Drafted a follow-up in your voice

Needs you

Send the follow-up — it’s in your drafts

The problem

AI can take more of your work. The handoff is the hard part.

Most people never learn which parts of a real task AI can take, or what it needs to take them. Underway works that out. You say what needs doing; it briefs your AI and hands over the work.

Renew the business insurance. In a blank chat, a question gets started and deleted unsent. With Underway, your AI finds your policy and its renewal date and drafts quote requests to two brokers; your part is to pick a quote.

How it works

Say what you need done. Your AI takes it from there.

  1. Capture it.

In a sentence, from your AI or the web. Anything goes — work only you can do sits beside work AI can take.

  2. It gets a brief.

The goal and what done looks like, how the work should flow, which parts AI can take, and what matters about how you work.

  3. Your AI works it.

The assistant you already use, with your mail, files, calendar and a browser signed in as you, picks it up — on a schedule if you like — and carries it as far as it can.

  4. You do only your part.

A decision, a draft to send, a call only you can make — ready to act on, never a cold start. Then the result is there for you to review.

Why it’s different

Light on purpose.

The heavy lifting stays in your AI.

Claude or ChatGPT does the work, with every tool you’ve connected it to — mail, docs, calendar, CRM, Slack and the rest. Underway just keeps the queue.

A clean board, not a scroll of chats.

Track and sort your tasks on one simple page instead of digging through conversations that wander. Or run it all from your assistant and never open it.

No new access to your accounts.

Your assistant connects to your mail, files and other tools itself. Underway never holds those connections, your credentials, or copies of what’s in them.

It learns how you work.

Every task leaves a record of how you actually got it done. Each new brief starts from that, so your tasks arrive better prepared the more you use it.

When is it better than just asking your AI?
